Glass no Ie Episode 9 English Subtitles[FINAL].

Kazunari Mad

Wow. What a ride. But somehow we finally made it here. This morning I finished off the subtitles for the final episode(Episode 9) of Glass No Ie. It feels extremely nostalgic looking back at when I first started this series, even though it was only 5 or 6 months ago – maybe a little less. There were definitely some tough times in the middle too, when I caved in and thought that it was all too much for me at one point with exams and stuff on. The point is I never should have given up in the first place and kept going at a slow and steady pace like I have been lately. I don’t often write posts that aren’t about Japanese drama but a post I made when I came back to blogging a couple of months ago sums it all up pretty well. I’m not going talk too much about how this series ends but I will say that the finale was a pretty big surprise for me so I hope you enjoy it if you haven’t watched the raws already.

Same deal as always. Don’t put these somewhere else without my permission. With this episode I’ve actually started branding the subtitles at the start and end. Like I’ve said many times before I’m thinking about creating something with HTML canvas and Javascript to protect my subtitles but it probably won’t be happening until the middle of the year because I have other projects I need to keep growing and finishing off. I doubt anyone wants to, but you’re free to re-translate my subtitles into another language as long as you credit me somewhere. I’d also like to take this last opportunity to thank everybody that supported me up until this point in the series. There were a lot of people out there talking smack about me when I dropped this for a month or two, but who really cares about haters. I guess what I want to say is it was the people who were encouraging and left me nice or constructive feedback and comments that made me want to pick this up again. So I’d like to thank all of you. Well, that’s enough writing I think. Here are the subtitles for Glass no Ie Episode 9, the finale. I’ve JUST started on the next episode of Watashi no Kirai na Tantei so expect that to come out in the next week or two. Anyway, enjoy.

  4. Thanks once again for subbing this great series, it leaves a lot of unanswered questions for me….one burning question though is,
What was written to the younger brother in the express delivery letter at the end of the drama??

[ it’s driving me crazy not knowing ]….

    • From memory I’m fairly sure he just sent divorce papers for Kenji to pass onto Rei with his signature and hanko on them. Sorry for forgetting to translate something so vital.
